S.P.A.N.S. is now available!

The Seward Peninsula Application Network Scholarship (S.P.A.N.S) has been updated and is available!

Now, part time students may qualify for financial aid and scholarships from local scholarship sources.

Check the application out to see if you are eligible:

Now you can call the UAF-NWC Unalakleet Learning Resource Center toll-free from anywhere in Alaska! Please don't hesitate to give me a call regarding advising, registration, financial aid or student services. I am a NWC advisor for the southern region of Norton Sound, and can be reached toll-free in Unalakleet at 1-888-624-3158.

Do the FAFSA online- before April 15!

Many of you do not order FAFSA forms in bulk, so this doesn't apply to you... nonetheless, FAFSA information Advisors were recently were made aware of:

As you know, Reese and I are available to help you apply for FAFSA. If at all possible, it's best to do it online... quicker, more efficient and there's online help ALWAYS available!
Now is a GREAT time to sign up for your PIN (FAFSA PIN Website) or reestablish it if you have one! Then, come January 1, you'll be prepared and can apply online.

Submit the application early in the year, preferably before April 15. This date is the deadline to apply for Financial aid available within the state of Alaska. Don't miss applying for those funds!
