On the Road!

Northwest Campus and other regional and statewide agencies participated in several of this winter's Kawerak Regional Career Fairs! Every day the group went to a different village in the region! What an action-packed week!

Monday- January 24th brought individuals from various agencies around the state out to Savoonga! Here Kacey Miller (NWC) and Sara Lizak (Kawerak, Inc.) take an exciting ride to the airport after the event. >

Tuesday- Students in St. Michael welcomed visitors on January 25. Casey Byrne (UAF School of Engineering and Mines) shows students a video about the Alaska Summer Research Academy at UAF!

Wednesday- Golovin had their Career Fair on January 25. Below are some pictures of Golovin students talking with the presenters about their plans for the future!

NWC's 2011 College Goal Sunday

It's been a great start to the Financial Aid Season for Northwest Campus!
Offering our 6th Annual Northwest Campus College Goal Sunday on January 30, Northwest Campus hosted 20 attendees for the Sunday financial aid event!

Local scholarship organization representatives provided valuable scholarship information and resources to attendees.

Attendees received line by line guidance in completing their FAFSA's.

The event resulted in 8 students completing their FAFSA's!
